About Tour Package

The Amarnath Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Hinduism, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The holy Amarnath Cave is located in the Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir at an altitude of about 3,888 meters (12,756 feet). Every year during the summer months, thousands of devotees undertake this spiritual journey to witness the naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam, which symbolizes the divine presence of Lord Shiva.

According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Shiva revealed the secret of immortality (Amar Katha) to Goddess Parvati inside this sacred cave. To ensure complete secrecy, Lord Shiva left behind all living beings on the way to the cave, which is why many places along the route are considered holy.

The journey to the Amarnath Cave usually begins from Pahalgam or Baltal, and pilgrims can reach the cave by trekking, pony rides, palanquins, or helicopter services. Despite the challenging terrain and high altitude, the yatra attracts thousands of devotees every year who come with deep faith and devotion to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.
