    Kathmandu
    Arrive in Kathmandu where the sacred Kailash Mansarovar journey begins. After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, participants will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax after the flight. In the evening, a short orientation meeting will be organized to explain the travel program and preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage.

    The day starts with breakfast before heading out to explore some of Kathmandu’s most revered spiritual sites. This sightseeing tour also serves as an important step in preparing mentally and spiritually for the sacred pilgrimage.

    The tour includes visits to:

    • Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva

    • Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Buddhist monument

    • Budhanilkantha Temple, famous for the reclining statue of Lord Vishnu

    After the tour, return to the hotel and finalize your preparations for the journey ahead.

    Today the overland journey toward Tibet begins. Travel by road from Kathmandu toward the Nepal–China border. The route passes through scenic mountain landscapes, rivers, and traditional villages. After reaching the border area, complete the necessary immigration procedures.
    After entering Tibet, continue the journey by road to Nyalam. The drive climbs through dramatic mountain scenery and deep valleys. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free to rest and adjust to the altitude.
    This day is reserved for altitude adjustment to prepare the body for higher elevations. Travelers may take short walks around the town and enjoy the surrounding Himalayan views.
    Continue the journey across the vast Tibetan plateau toward Saga. The route offers stunning views of mountains, rivers, and wide open landscapes typical of Tibet.
    Today the journey reaches the sacred Lake Mansarovar. This holy lake is located near Mount Kailash and is an important pilgrimage destination for devotees from around the world.
    Spend some peaceful time near the lake in the morning before driving to Darchen. This small town serves as the base camp for the Kailash Parikrama.
    The Kailash Parikrama begins today. The trek follows the valley toward Dirapuk Monastery and offers incredible views of Mount Kailash’s north face.
    Today is the most demanding part of the trek. Pilgrims cross Dolma La Pass before descending toward Zuthulpuk Monastery.

    Finish the final section of the Kailash Parikrama and return to the road point where vehicles will be waiting. Continue driving back to Saga.

    Travel back across the Tibetan plateau toward Nyalam while enjoying the dramatic landscape of the region.
    Drive toward the Nepal border and complete immigration formalities before continuing the journey back to Kathmandu.
    After breakfast, visit some of the most important religious landmarks in Kathmandu. The sightseeing tour includes the famous Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Budhanilkantha Temple. These sacred places are considered spiritually significant before beginning the journey to Mount Kailash.

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight, marking the completion of the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage.
