About Tour Package

The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in the world, leading devotees to the holy Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. This spiritual journey holds deep significance in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and the Bon religion. In Hindu tradition, Mount Kailash is believed to be the divine abode of Lord Shiva, while the sacred Lake Mansarovar is considered a source of spiritual purification and blessings.

The pilgrimage season generally runs from May to September, when travel conditions in the Himalayan region are relatively stable. Due to the remote and high-altitude terrain, pilgrims are required to obtain special permits and travel documents before undertaking the journey.

Frequently Asked & Question

The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter is a convenient pilgrimage route that starts from Kathmandu and reaches the Kailash region via Nepalgunj, Simikot, and Hilsa before entering Tibet. From Hilsa, pilgrims travel by vehicle to Taklakot, Lake Mansarovar, and Mount Kailash to complete the sacred Parikrama.
Kathmandu → Nepalgunj → Simikot → Hilsa → Taklakot (Purang) → Lake Mansarovar → Darchen → Kailash Parikrama → return via the same route.

The best time for the pilgrimage is May to September, when weather conditions are relatively stable and travel routes are open in the Himalayan region.

The Kailash Parikrama is considered moderately difficult because of the high altitude. The trek covers around 52 km over three days, with the most challenging section being Dolma-La Pass (around 5,600 m).
Pilgrims usually stay in comfortable hotels in Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, and Taklakot, while in remote areas such as Lake Mansarovar, Dirapuk, and Zuthulpuk, accommodations are basic guesthouses or dormitory-style lodges due to limited facilities in the region.
