About Tour Package

The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in the world, taking devotees to the holy Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. This spiritual journey holds deep significance in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and the Bon religion. In Hindu belief, Mount Kailash is regarded as the divine abode of Lord Shiva, while the sacred Lake Mansarovar is believed to possess powerful spiritual and purifying qualities.

The pilgrimage season generally runs from May to September, when travel conditions in the Himalayan region are more favorable. Due to the remote high-altitude terrain and international borders, pilgrims are required to obtain special permits and travel documents to undertake the journey.

Early in the morning, you will board a mountain flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot, the gateway to the remote Himalayan region.

Simikot, located at 2,910 meters, serves as an important acclimatization stop before entering Tibet. The airport here accommodates small aircraft such as Dornier or Twin Otter, carrying around 15 passengers.

Today’s journey includes an exciting helicopter flight from Simikot to Hilsa, followed by a drive into Tibet. After breakfast, take the 25-minute helicopter flight through scenic Himalayan valleys to reach Hilsa. Each helicopter carries up to 5 passengers with a luggage allowance of 10 kg per person.
