About Tour Package
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage that takes travelers to the holy Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. This journey holds great spiritual significance for followers of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and the Bon religion. Mount Kailash is widely believed to be the divine residence of Lord Shiva, while the waters of Lake Mansarovar are considered spiritually purifying for pilgrims.
The route from Lhasa to Kerung allows pilgrims to experience both the cultural beauty of Tibet and the spiritual atmosphere of the Kailash region. Travelers first explore the historic city of Lhasa and its famous monasteries before continuing across the vast Tibetan plateau toward Mount Kailash. The journey also includes the sacred Kailash Parikrama, a ritual circumambulation around the holy mountain believed to cleanse past karma and lead devotees closer to spiritual liberation.

Your journey begins upon arrival in Kathmandu. At the airport, our tour manager will welcome you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, passports of all NRI pilgrims will be collected for the necessary travel documentation and permit processing.

After breakfast, begin the day with visits to some of Kathmandu’s most important religious sites. The tour starts at Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. From there, continue to Gruheswari Devi Temple, an important Shaktipeeth, followed by Budhanilkantha Temple, famous for the large reclining statue of Lord Vishnu.
Afternoon Program:
Return to the hotel for lunch and some rest. Later in the evening, visit Pashupatinath Temple again to witness the traditional evening Aarti ceremony, followed by the sacred rituals along the Bagmati River. After the ceremony, return to the hotel for dinner.-

Today’s excursion focuses on the historical and spiritual heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Start the day with darshan at Doleswar Mahadev Temple, which is believed to be associated with Kedarnath. Next, visit Chang Narayan Temple, one of the oldest temples in Nepal. The tour then continues to the UNESCO heritage site Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known for its ancient architecture and traditional culture.

Continue the sightseeing program with a visit to Patan, where you will explore Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. In the evening, a detailed briefing will be held about the upcoming Kailash Mansarovar journey.-

Afterward, explore the lively Barkhor Square, where pilgrims walk around the temple performing traditional kora. The sightseeing tour also includes Norbulingka Palace, known as the summer residence of the Dalai Lama.

Booking Conditions
- To confirm the booking, a deposit is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the tour. Travelers must provide valid passport details and necessary documents for Tibet permits and visas.
- Cancellation Policy :
- 60 days before departure – partial refund
- 30 days before departure – higher cancellation fee
- Less than 15 days before departure – no refund

- Travelers should be physically fit due to high altitude conditions.
- Proper travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- Weather conditions in Tibet may cause itinerary changes.
- Medical conditions should be disclosed before booking.
Documents Required
- Passport with at least six months validity
- Clear passport copy for permit processing
- Six recent passport-size photographs measuring 33 mm × 48 mm must be provided.
- The passport should have a minimum validity of six months from the planned travel date.
Cancellation Policy
- After the group naming list has been submitted for the Tibet travel permit, any cancellation will result in a penalty charge for each participant. The permit application process normally begins approximately 60 days before the scheduled departure date.
- If a traveler cancels the tour 45 days before the departure date, 75% of the total payment will be refunded.
- If the cancellation is made 30 days before departure, 50% of the total payment will be refunded.
- If the tour is canceled 15 days or less before the departure date, no refund will be provided.
