After completing the text of Following Sound into Silence, Kailash searched for the best images to compliment his interpretations of the mantras selected for the book and CD. Although he found many beautiful illustrations of the Perfections that these mantras celebrate, he could not locate all that were needed. Nor were those he found of a piece; they were unrelated images, each by a different artist and in a different style. Kailash wanted the art in his book to present the same beauty, unity, and authenticity for viewers' eyes as the mantra recordings on the chanting CD do for the ears of listeners. So Kailash knew that he must undertake a third creative venture in connection with this single project (after writing the text, and composing and recording the music for the CD). He would render a collection of watercolored ink drawings depicting the very Gods, Goddesses, and Saints whose Sound-Forms grace the pages of the book, and the CD that accompanies it.  These fourteen illustrations are printed in full color, at 8" X 10", on 80 lb. silk finish cover paper. The prints are ready for framing and display in your home, office, or studio, whether separately or in a cluster. Each set includes a photograph (see image above) depicting the framed prints hung in the form of a mandala, just as Kailash displays the original artwork in his own home-shrine (excepting the original of Maharaji's portrait--which, at a whopping 4' X 4', hangs on another wall). Neem Karoli Baba said, "The Grace of God is being able to Remember God." By displaying these likenesses of the multi-faceted Divine, you arrange to remind yourself of the Best that you can imagine--just as you do when repeating mantras with faith and devotion.
